From using up tons of film on old Kodak cameras to my first time using a DSLR, I have always felt a pull towards trying to portray the beauty around us. There is an inexplicable feeling of joy that washes over me when I take a good photo. Even when I don't have a camera with me, I am constantly taking mental images of anything that catches my eye.
After graduating from med school, I decided against pursuing it as a career. During the succeeding whirlwind of indecision and abortive ideas and attempts, photography remained an island of calm. Overtime, it has progressed from being an indulgence to a hobby to my passion. A passion I want to use to highlight important issues, tell meaningful stories and keep growing as a professional as well as an individual.
